Reliant hosted a West Coast Anodizing School at the Sierra Lakes Golf Club in Fontana, California. The free school included a complimentary breakfast for attendees followed by a barbecue lunch buffet.
Mark Jozefowicz, Reliant’s VP of Technical Services, was the instructor for this informative class and served as moderator for the technical Q&A sessions that followed. He was joined by David Ochoa of ANO-DYES, Reliant’s Technical Sales Agent for the West Coast.
The half-day informal seminar focused on the technology of anodizing aluminum with topics including aluminum metallurgy, as well as each of the chemical stages of the process. The origins of many problems commonly encountered by anodizing professionals were highlighted and participants benefitted from open class discussions on related topics and sharing personal experiences.
Following lunch, attendees were invited for a round of golf at Sierra Lakes, an 18-hole course at the foot of the San Bernardino Mountains designed by renowned architect Ted Robinson.
